Children diagnosed with autism often engage in undesirable and problematic behaviors that may be challenging to parents, siblings and caregivers. It can be difficult to understand why a child is acting out or how best to handle it. These workshops will provide practical and effective behavior management techniques to parents and caregivers of children with autism. Part I will concentrate on determining why children may act out the way that they do. Part II will concentrate on what to do to decrease the occurrence of undesirable behaviors.
